Chole (Garbanzo) Salad

This is a very simple salad, easy to cook (its actually no cook) and complements rice, curries and gravy dishes very well. Another plus is that it isn't served hot and can be made and refrigerated. I had made this a few weeks ago for a dinner party and everyone enjoyed it. I am sending it to Think Spice- Think Amchoor guest hosted by Bhagyashri of Taste Buds, an event by Sunita, Think Spice and to PJ's No cook event. Here is how its made...

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups boiled garbanzo (chole / Kabuli chana)
1 medium boiled potato, cubed
1 tomato diced
1/2 medium onion diced
1-2 tablespoons coriander chopped
1/2 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon bhuna jeera (roasted powdered cumin seeds)
1/2 teaspoon amchoor
Salt

Mix all the ingredients and taste. Adjust spices as per taste. Serve!

Variations:
Add cooked kidney beans (rajma) instead of garbanzo
Add cooked black chickpeas (kala chana) instead of garbanzo
Add equal parts yogurt and salad to make a tasty raita
