Mudslide

I like chocolate drinks. They start as a pre-dinner drink can be dessert as well (if they last as long). Here is a simple one with two of my favorite ingredients. This drink can be served in an old-fashioned glass or a martini glass. I have used Martini glass portions here. For ofg, double the proportions below. I don't like ice in dairy based drinks as it melts and dilutes my drink. The original way is to pour the ingredients on ice in the serving glass. I make the drink in a shaker/glass with ice and serve.

Ingredients:

1/2 oz vodka
1 oz Kahlua coffee liqueur
1 oz Baileys Irish Cream
Hershey's Chocolate Syrup for garnish
Ice to chill

Fill the martini glass with ice water. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice, add the ingredients and shake. Empty the martini glass of the ice water. Pour some Hershey's in a zigzag below the rim. Strain and pour the drink in the glass. Serve chilled.

If you don't have a cocktail shaker, mix the drink in a glass with a lid and strain with a tea strainer.

I am sending this drink to KO Rasoi’s ‘Wear Your Food’ competition. This drink resembles her cocktail charm.
