Masala Cashews - Diwali Special Recipes!

Diwali is synonymous with dry fruits, whether you gift them or serve them to guests. This is a tasty version of the same old cashews. Roasting and adding spices goes well with the natural sweetness of cashews. You can also spice up almonds the same way. Your guests will surely enjoy these and so will you!

Ingredients:

2 cups Cashew nuts
1 teaspoon Ghee
1/2 teaspoon Roasted Cumin powder (bhuna jeera)
1 teaspoon Chaat Masala
Salt

In a wok, roast the cashews on a low flame. Turn them continuously to evenly roast them. Alternatively you can even roast them in an airfryer. Pre-heat the airfryer at 180 degrees for 5 minutes. Roast the cashews for 4-5 minutes flipping them once.

Heat the ghee in a wok and add the cashews. Add the cumin powder, chaat masala and salt and stir to coat the cashews evenly. Remove from heat and cool to room temperature. Store in an air tight container upto a week.

Hope you enjoy eating them as much as I did!
